JUST A WISH….

I remember the days

When I was a baby, and

When I wished to be hugged

By my parents always…

I remember the days

When I was a child, and

When I was neither a baby nor a youth

As same as a bat which is neither an animal nor a bird!

I remember the days

When I was a youth

Which I wished not to end, and

Wept when it ended!

I now wish again but in vain

To become a baby in life,

Then to be a child and

Then…. a youth forever!!!
